The Museum is still accepting registrations for all three sessions of its 2012 half-day summer camp, Journey through Peru, in June and July.
Campers will take an imaginary journey over the Andes Mountains and through the Amazon rainforest to discover the ancient Incan empire at Machu Picchu. With the help of special guests, including native Peruvian Renza Wallace, campers will also learn about the modern people in this diverse country. Using music, art, stories, games, and other activities, campers will explore the wonders of Peru.
Camp is designed for ages 6 to 12. Sessions will be June 25—29, July 9—13, and July 16—20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. The fee is $125 for the week ($100 for MOA Friends). Registration and prepayment guarantee a spot.
