A Native American of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, Author, Educator, Historian and Speaker, Jamie Oxendine is the Executive Director Tribal Administrator for the Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe.  He will speak about his research into the artistic designs used by the Woodland Nations, pre-contact and after contact, in daily life, art, clothing, decoration, and body art.  Admission is free.
